Below you'll find answers to common questions regarding the 2030 journey, renovation, and construction project. 

  • The project kicked off August 2019.

  • There are several phases to this extensive project. Full completion is scheduled for 2030.

  • We anticipate having a variety of room configurations available. Currently, the plan is to have the following room types included in the newly remodeled rooms:

    • King and King with Sleeper
    • Double Queen and Double Queen with Sleeper
    • 1 Bedroom and King Suites
    • And possibly, some other configurations

  • As part of The Highlands' continued commitment to ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests, our team will be working on Doon Brae and our Himalaya course but all other lawn games will be moved to a new location.

    The Interconnect lift construction should have very minimal impact on the guest experience and noise volume at the resort since it is located at the north end of the property.
